The service

Net Infusion provides an AI phone assistant that answers calls on behalf of a business, answers questions about it, books appointments on a connected calendar, and takes messages when it cannot complete a call.

What the business is responsible for

• The accuracy of the details it provides — services, hours, service area and pricing information. The assistant answers from what it is given.
• Forwarding its own phone line, and being able to undo that.
• Following up on messages the assistant takes. The assistant tells callers that someone will call them back.
• Its own obligations to its customers, including any consent or call-recording notice its jurisdiction requires.

What the assistant will not do

It does not quote prices, guarantee work, or commit to insurance or legal outcomes. It states that it is an automated assistant when asked. It is not used for cold calling or marketing campaigns.

Limits

The assistant depends on telephone networks, speech recognition and third-party services, none of which are perfect. It can mishear, and it can be unavailable. It is not a substitute for emergency services, and callers with an emergency should be directed to the appropriate number.

Ending the service

A business may stop at any time by removing call forwarding and revoking calendar access. On request, its stored data is deleted.
